In cur­rent release of Ubuntu (Feisty), sound-juicer keeps fail­ing with a seg fault when you try rip­ping your music what­ever the kind of encod­ing you use… at least for me. kau­diocre­ator appeared to be a good replace­ment for it. I was just amazed to see how easy it was to con­fig­ure a new appli­ca­tion to han­dle audio cd inser­tion.
