In current release of Ubuntu (Feisty), sound-juicer keeps failing with a seg fault when you try ripping your music whatever the kind of encoding you use… at least for me. kaudiocreator appeared to be a good replacement for it. I was just amazed to see how easy it was to configure a new application to handle audio cd insertion. In deed, I’d rather look at first for udev but I ended up with the point and click solution.
